Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Datavyn ("Datavyn," "we," "us," or "our") operates datavyn.com and the digital services and digital products sold through it (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account and order data — your name, email address, billing information, and purchase history when you create an account, place an order, or subscribe.
  • Payment data — payments are handled by our payment provider, Polar. Card details are processed and stored by the payment provider, not on Datavyn's own servers.
  • Usage data — pages visited, referring pages, approximate location (from IP address), device and browser type, and how you interact with the Service. This is collected through cookies and analytics tools described in our Cookie Policy.
  • Communications — the contents of emails, contact-form submissions, and support requests you send us.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To process orders, subscriptions, payments, and refunds.
  • To communicate with you about your account, purchases, and support requests.
  • To send product updates or marketing emails where you have opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any such email.
  • To monitor usage, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal bases (EU/UK visitors)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your data on these legal bases: performance of a contract (delivering what you purchased), legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), consent (marketing and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

4. Sharing your information

We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate Datavyn — payment processing (Polar), web hosting, email delivery, and analytics — under terms that restrict how they may use it. We may also disclose data if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above: account data for the life of your account, order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and analytics data in aggregated or anonymized form. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International transfers

We serve customers worldwide, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required (for example for EU/UK data), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any right, email jamshaid@datavyn.com — we respond within 30 days.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and where appropriate we will notify you by email.

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of datavyn.com and all digital services and digital products offered through it (the "Service"). By accessing or purchasing from the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be legally capable of entering a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with a parent or guardian's consent.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials confidential. Activity under your account is your responsibility.

2. License to use the Service

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Datavyn grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the purchased digital products and services for your own personal or internal business purposes. All intellectual property in the Service — including code, designs, content, and trademarks — remains the property of Datavyn or its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated here.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share purchased digital products beyond the scope of your license;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where the law permits it despite this restriction;
  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes, to infringe others' rights, or to distribute malware or spam;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems, or disrupt their operation;
  • Scrape or bulk-download content from the Service without written permission.

4. Orders, pricing & subscriptions

  • Prices, features, and billing frequency are displayed at the point of purchase. Prices may change, but changes will not affect an order already placed.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider, Polar, which acts as merchant of record for the transaction. Your purchase is also subject to the provider's own terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing jamshaid@datavyn.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase, unless collected at checkout.

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Client work & deliverables (services)

For custom digital services (such as data analysis, development, or design work), the scope, timeline, and fees are as agreed in writing before the work begins. Unless otherwise agreed in writing: you receive full rights to final deliverables upon full payment, while Datavyn retains rights to pre-existing tools, libraries, and general know-how used to produce them.

7. Third-party services

The Service may link to or integrate third-party tools and platforms. Datavyn is not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Datavyn will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Datavyn for the product or service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the event. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory consumer rights.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Datavyn harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

11. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where reasonably possible, if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, United Kingdom, United States, or elsewhere, you additionally retain any mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms deprives you of them. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting jamshaid@datavyn.com; failing resolution within 30 days, disputes will be brought before the competent courts of the governing jurisdiction, except where mandatory law grants you the right to sue in your home courts.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. For material changes affecting active subscriptions, we will give reasonable advance notice by email.

Refund Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

We want you to be happy with what you buy from Datavyn. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one. Our payment provider, Polar, applies this policy when handling refund requests.

1. Refund window

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you are not satisfied, subject to the conditions below. After 14 days, purchases are final, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

2. Eligibility

  • Subscriptions: refundable within 14 days of the most recent charge (first payment or renewal). Cancelling stops future charges but does not by itself trigger a refund — please request one explicitly.
  • One-time digital products: refundable within 14 days, unless the product has been fully consumed or delivered in a way that exhausts its value — for example, a completed download of a full product package, an activated license key, or a completed course.
  • Custom services: work already performed is non-refundable; any unused prepaid portion is refundable on a pro-rata basis.
  • Usage-based or consumable charges already used are non-refundable, except where required by law.

3. How to request a refund

  • Email jamshaid@datavyn.com from the address used at purchase, with your order number and a brief reason.
  • Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Polar, typically within 5–10 business days.

4. Fair use of this policy

We may decline a refund where there is evidence of abuse (for example, repeated purchase-and-refund cycles), fraud, or a violation of our Terms of Service.

5. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you hold under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country, including EU/UK distance-selling withdrawal rights. Note that under EU/UK rules, the statutory withdrawal right for digital content lapses once you consent to immediate delivery and delivery begins — this policy's 14-day window applies regardless, subject to the eligibility conditions above.

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Datavyn provides digital services and digital products focused on data and web technology — helping individuals and businesses turn data into decisions and ideas into working software.

What we offer

  • Data analysis & visualization services — cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing datasets using tools such as Python (pandas, scikit-learn) to deliver clear reports and dashboards.
  • Development services — building websites, scripts, automation, and data pipelines tailored to your requirements.
  • Digital products — downloadable templates, code, guides, and tutorials available for purchase directly from datavyn.com.

Pricing

  • Digital products are one-time purchases at the price displayed on each product page at checkout.
  • Services are quoted per project — scope, deliverables, timeline, and total price are agreed in writing before work begins.
  • Any subscription offering will clearly state its billing period, renewal terms, and cancellation method at the point of purchase.

Delivery

Digital products are delivered electronically — typically immediately after payment confirmation, via a download link or email. Service deliverables are provided per the agreed project timeline. No physical goods are shipped.

Limitations

  • Digital products are licensed for your own personal or internal business use; redistribution or resale is not permitted unless the product page states otherwise.
  • System requirements (where relevant, e.g. Python version or browser support) are listed on the individual product page.
  • Results of data analysis services depend on the quality and completeness of the data you provide.

Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Datavyn uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels) on datavyn.com.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They help websites function, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.

2. Cookies we use

  • Essential cookies — required for core functionality such as page navigation, checkout, and account login. These are always active and do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors find and use the site (pages viewed, time on page, referral source) so we can improve it. These are set only with your consent where the law requires it.
  • Functional cookies — remember your preferences, such as cookie-consent choices.

We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, this policy and our consent banner will be updated first.

3. Managing your preferences

  • Where a cookie banner is shown, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies on your first visit and change your choice at any time via the site's cookie settings.
  • You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all provide this). Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site — such as checkout — from working.

4. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties we use to run the site — for example our analytics or payment providers. These are governed by those providers' own privacy policies.

5. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Check the "Last updated" date above for the current version.
